Shenandoah

Durham Ferry – It was a clear but chilly day on the San Joaquin but forty six shooters showed up at Durham Ferry to test their skills.  This was the third in our “First Saturday” series and was the slickest yet.  The stages were interesting but straightforward.  Peaceful, Shenandoah, Cherokee Doll and Mariposa Slim shot a clean match.  Several of our gang left immediately after the shoot for Carefree, Arizona.  At least six or eight more of us will be following them by the first of the week for the “National Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting, SASS’s Winter Range.”  Several of our folks have lofty ambitions there.
